The Head of Sales Operations & Enablement, North America will drive the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization, through effective and timely communications, streamlined internal processes, and meaningful reporting. The Leader will lead a team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are defined, enabled, and executed. This role will report to the Head of Customer Markets, North America.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Sales Operations
    • Sales Planning:  Supports the development and implementation of a Sales Plan that underpins the Mid-Term Plan (MTP) in terms of strategy and actions.
    • Sales Budgets & Targets:  Sets and communicates sales budgets and targets in partnership with Sales Leadership, Strategy and Finance.
    • Sales Quotas:  Sets and communicates sales quotas in partnership with Sales Leadership.  Allocates individual sales quotas and sales accounts to underpin the achievement of the Sales Plan.
    • Sales Forecast:  Accountable for timely and accurate sales forecasts and the provision of accurate sales pipeline information to underpin the business forecasts.
    • Incentive Plans:  Designs and communicates sales compensation plans. Arbitrates claims where required and ensures that plan rules are applied fairly and consistently across the organization.
    • CRM & Technology:  Defines and implements technologies that enable increased sales team productivity.  Monitors the compliance of the Sales organization with required standards of CRM data quality.  Works closely with Sales Leadership to optimize the effectiveness of Fujitsu’ technology investments.
    • Inside Sales:  Governance and management of Inside Sales Program and Reps.
    • Managing Talent:  Lead and build a Sales Operations and Enablement team to support the achievement of the overall sales ambition. Measures individual performance and team effectiveness.
    • General Management:  Is a visible and value member of the relevant management team, influencing strategy for market making, capability and offering development.

Key Activities
    • Monthly TCV & IYR Forecasting – Responsible for creating prelim draft of monthly forecasts, including Q2RF, Q3RF and Q4RF.
    • Frequent Pipeline and Performance Reporting – Maintain and distribute weekly reports for Sales Leadership
    • Salesforce & Technology Innovation – automate opportunity lifecycle by utilizing Quip, a Salesforce owned SaaS feature.
    • OneCRM Initiative – global CRM standardization initiative; includes introducing mandatory fields and functionality; also includes modification of CSLC and synchronization with SAP (ERP).
    • Annual Budget/Target Process – Develop model to calculate and allocate budgets across Industries.
    • Key contributor in the following initiatives and activities: NPS & CX Survey, Special Projects “Lead”, Compensation Plans, Incentive Plans
Sales Enablement
    • Technology Stack:  Assist in the identification, evaluation and implementation of new sales tools, processes and methodologies.
    • Sales Methodology and Education:  Responsible for sales methodology.  Participate in the evaluation, planning and scheduling of sales education programs.
    • Continuous Learning:  Develop and maintain a master schedule for all recurring and one-time sales enablement activities.
    • Content Creation and Process Documentation:  Develop and maintain documents, user manuals, etc. for internal processes.
    • Communication:  Assist Sales Leadership in rolling out communication activities.
    • Onboarding:  Work with HR and IT to effectively onboard / offboard sales team members that include:  transfer of account, opportunity, and lead records; issuing / collecting equipment, system accesses and other administrative items as needed.
Key Activities
    • Drive sales team onboarding process.
    • Identify, introduce, and train sellers on new sales technologies that increase productivity and create collaborative-friendly environments.  Examples include:  CrystalKnows, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, D&B Hoovers, etc…
    • Key contact and architect for Revegy; Modifying account review templates and creating CX Plan templates.
    • Create and communicate Key Win Announcements.
    • Liaise between Global Knowledge Management office and the Region as well as other Fujitsu groups.

Acquisition consideration of US$1.2m with US$800k cash component funded from cash reserves raised through the institutional placement conducted in December 2022. SalesDirector.ai revenue in FY23 is not expected to be material.

2-Dec-2022, Australia’s Bigtincan Holdings Ltd ($BTH.AX) received a buyout bid from private equity adviser SQN Investors, valuing the Sales Enablement software firm at A$441.9M AUD ($300.62M USD).

Californian suitor SQN Investors has launched an unsolicited takeover bid at 80cps that would value Bigtincan at almost $442 million, representing a 17.64 per cent premium to yesterday’s closing price and an equivalent level to six-month highs achieved in August. SQN already has a 13.6 per cent stake in Bigtincan and its partner Farouk Hussein has been a director since October 2021. The Sydney-founded company, based in the outer suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts since 2014, has established an independent board committee (IBC) comprising current independent non-executive directors and CEO David Keane to evaluate and respond to the indicative proposal. “SQN has indicated that it aims to fund the Indicative Proposal by a combination of equity by SQN and its affiliates, and possibly debt financing, although it does not currently have binding commitments in that regard. SQN have not been provided due diligence access at this time,” Bigtincan reported on the ASX today. “Bigtincan also notes that it has had preliminary discussions with other interested parties who have approached Bigtincan with indications of interest in respect of a potential control transaction. The IBC will consider the proposals in an orderly manner with its advisers and in the best interests of all Bigtincan shareholders.”

[Edit] 8-Dec-2022, Australian sales software developer Bigtincan Holdings Ltd. draws opposition to possible equity raising from its largest shareholder & suitor. Technology investor SQN Investors LP sent a letter to the Bigtincan board Wednesday objecting to what it said would be a “potentially highly dilutive” & “value-destructive” move.

Software startup Vendasta acquired Boston-based Yesware, in a deal Vendasta says will expand its sales enablement & marketing automation capabilities. The financial terms of the transaction, which will see Vendasta integrate Yesware into its portfolio of service offerings, were not disclosed. The Yesware deal marks Vendasta’s third acquisition in the past year or so. Oct-2021, Vendasta purchased artificial intelligence-powered automated scheduling software firm CalendarHero, and this January, Vendasta bought search, display, & social advertising tech company MatchCraft. Vendasta’s acquisition of Yesware also comes a couple of months after the company laid off over 30 of its approximately 700 employees. Founded in 2010, Yesware provides tech tools like email tracking & campaign management to sales teams. As of 2018, Yesware had raised a total of $48M. Update: Bigtincan withdraws LiveTiles aquisition bid, 22-Nov-2022

Sales enablement platform provider Bigtincan Holdings Ltd (ASX: BTH) @Bigtincan has tabled a confidential, non-binding, indicative proposal to acquire LiveTiles @LiveTiles by way of scheme of arrangement. Under the indicative proposal, LiveTiles shareholders would be entitled to receive 7 cents per share, less any dividends, or distributions paid to shareholders from this day onwards. And while Bigtincan is offering cash to acquire the company, shareholders will be given the option to receive part of the consideration in the form of Bigtincan shares.

Based on LiveTiles’ shares outstanding of 923,221,306, this implies a takeover price of approximately AUD $65M. However, it is worth noting that discussions between the two parties are preliminary in nature and no agreement has been reached. Bigtincan also warned that there is no certainty that any transaction will eventuate.

ASX-listed employee experience software LiveTiles has inked an agreement to purchase the remaining 80 per cent of climate change consulting business My Net Zero for about AUD $10M.

The news comes as Australia-founded software vendor Bigtincan Holdings put an offer on the table to acquire 100 per cent of LiveTiles. The move to acquire LiveTiles comes after it flagged its intentions in August to conduct an “extensive” operational review after flagging its intent to delist from the ASX, with its consideration including the continued move of “certain” jobs to Portugal & the Philippines.

Bigtincan’s Q1 FY23 $bth.ax cash operating payments included $2.8m of one-off severance and other costs related to business adjustments conducted in the Quarter.

In fact, you a searching a historical copy of the web when you using search engines. In other words, you are searching only the search engine’s database copy of the web and not the web itself. Search engines also need to constantly go out and make copies of the known web allowing you to search a moment in time from their own cached copy of the web. This process is very time-consuming and very costly to search engines that need to constantly repeat this process over and over again. Search engines can take days to weeks or even months to return to a site to have it crawled again just to look for new content. The web is also very complex & not easily searchable. Lots of sites have vast amounts of data that is not searchable or is impossible for conventional search engines to crawl. The buying journey isn’t linear: B2B buying doesn’t play out in any kind of predictable, linear order. Instead, customers engage in what one might call “looping” across a typical B2B purchase, revisiting each of those six buying jobs at least once. Buying jobs don’t happen sequentially, but more or less simultaneously.
